Our commitment to accessibility

  • We strive to make our event spaces somewhere all attendees feel welcome and comfortable. That begins with our mindset. We have a long-standing policy that accessibility should be considered with every planning decision we make. We also have a benchmark for ourselves that we actually try to solve accessibility hurdles even if we don’t think there are solutions. Sometimes that means we do a little extra work and it still doesn't pan out, like the 3 years we spent trying to find wheelchair accessible party space within our limited price range. But eventually it pays off like in the fourth year where we finally found it.

  • Wheelchair accessible space at the Saloon for the first evening and Saturday’s classes

    ⚠ tight bathroom access ⚠

Proof of COVID vaccination or a recent (within 48 hrs) negative COVID test for all attendees and volunteers.

Low-sensory chill areas at the pool party

    **NO scent-free policy

We understand that scent policies can be discriminatory towards people who require oils and products to maintain textured hair, etc. We also understand that for some, scents are be a barrier. We are open to exploring alternatives in the future to provide balanced access to the widest audience possible. For now, we believe we include the most people without a scents policy

Latex-free policy at the first party. Enhanced cleaning between scenes at both parties

This helps contain latex exposure at the second party, allowing latex fans to play while reducing harm to those with allergies. This also helps prevent the spread of illness.

  • If you plan on attending and have a need not fully addressed above, we encourage you to let us know.

Knowing in advance helps us plan for the needs of all people participating in the event and helps us to plan more inclusive events in the future. We hope that you can fully enjoy this event and if not, we hope we can do better next time.
